In his 90 years of life, my PawPaw has fought for our country in WWII (receiving the Purple Heart for his service), been a highly sought after softball player (per his report), managed a successful farm, married a remarkable woman, had children, got kicked out of a nursing home (different story for a different day), and given us plenty of reasons to grimace, smile, cry, and laugh. He loves ‘Vandybilt’ and the Atlanta Braves, giving gifts, and any food that his doctor specifically tells him he shouldn’t have.I can (easily) say that I don’t know anyone else like him (which is probably good because I don’t think our world could handle two Bud Flippos).
