2011 was an epic year, let’s be honest. So many things happened that excited, saddened, frustrated, and changed me.
New Years at the Dunlap’s got it off to a great start! Amanda and Matthew are some of the best people that I know, and I can’t wait for little Monroe to join us in 2012!
If I were to compile a list of the most incredible evenings of my life, Conor Oberst would be represented at least twice. Seeing Bright Eyes with Will in March was something he and I had waited on for so long. SO glad to have had that experience!
In April I moved into my new apartment!
Over the summer I hosted a birthday shin-dig for Candice, went to ATL with Japeto and Cankles, and Al and Drew got married!
But hands down fall was the best. ROCKtober was out in full force with trips to the Loveless Cafe and Pfunky Griddle.
To make things even better my family went on a trip to Florida where we got to enjoy the beautiful October sun and sand. And while we were in Florida Tyler moved back to Nashville, meaning that I didn’t have to sit alone on my balcony talking to him on the phone, he could be there with me in person!
The new friends I made this year truly are ones that I think will stick around for the long haul. I am so happy to have Sam, Say Rah, and Bethany in my life!
While things did not always go as I would have preferred them to, overall 2011 left me nothing to complain about. I am at the best place in my life that I have ever been before and feel move love for my friends and family than I can articulate. I am excited to see what God brings my way in 2012!
